A crazy day in a crazy country

You know it's time to get out of this mad country when you wake up to glorious sunshine..

..followed by rain..

..followed by hail..

..bits of ice everywhere..

..bits of ice on the grass..

..and then blue skies once again..

..a multi-season day in the middle of Spring..

..that's Melbourne for you!

Rumour had it that they send the ‘weather God apprentices’ to Melbourne... but I have always suspected that this city has been a divine mental-asylum since European settlement. That imbecile Howard surely isn’t doing enough about climate change no?

Bloody hell...makes San Fran's ambivalent weather look positively tame...touch wood we haven't had any ice cubes pouring downwards...being hit on the noggin by one of those is absolutely no fun

Haren: It's good that imbecile Howard doesn't do enough about ANYTHING at all (except maybe wipe Bush's A**)..cos if he did, a lot of ppls would prob'ly die from shock ;o)

savi3: You know, that's exactly what I was thinking thru out this weird day..at least the sun's still smiling..However, you have the perfect excuse every night for hot chocolate, yea?? ;oD

Asiri: Err..rain doesn't make me wanna sleep..makes me wanna snuggle down with hot chocolate and a good book..and seeing as I'm on holidays..that's exactly what I did!! hehehe ;oD

N: Mmmhh..I always think of San Francisco as nice and sunny..Guess it's true that you always remember a place in the season you visit it in rather than its actual season/s..or sth like that! ;o)

Turtle: I was never against digi cams..I just like the grainy effect of those old cameras..and I don't know enough about digi cams to get that effect ;o( (btw, this isn't my cam..it's H's)

Agreed!
But personally, I think it would be nice if people could force the bugger to dress like an abo, do a rain-dance on top of Ayers rock, then hunt down and sacrifice a rabbit, burn the meat and make a ritualistic offering to the inmates at Baxter in repentance… just to appease the weather gods of course…

Haren: Are you telling me that it's possible Howard knows Baxter exists?!? And to think the world believes Saddam was the only one to commit crimes again humanity in the near past..

Jokerman: Me not understand ur comment? :o( As I keep telling u, u must break these things down to basics for me to understand 'em! ;o)
